THE STORY

Professor Li joins the Automation Technology Center (ATC) at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST)

Establishment of Googol Tech, the first startup company to come out of the ATC.

Frank Wang, a graduate student at HKUST, develops his graduation project on helicopter flight control into a company called DJI with the help of Professor Li.

Jinbo Shi and other HKUST students found QKM, a startup company focusing in R&D, production, sales, and application of lightweight industrial robots.

Establishment of Songshan Lake Xbot Park by Professors Li Zexiang, Ping K. Ko, and Gan Jie

Currently incubating over 50 startup companies across agricultural, industrial, and consumer/IoT domains.
